5.0 out of 5 stars Couldn’t put it down!
Fabulous! I love mysteries, and this one was definitely not predictable. The story was very engaging (I finished it in one night!!), the characters well fleshed out, the descriptions rich… Kept me on the edge of my seat (or couch, as the case may be). I also noted that the author’s writing has matured since her first book. This book flowed without feeling self-conscious, as the first book did in a few places. I can’t wait to see what Tina is up to next!!

MEET THE AUTHOR
Karen Goldner left a lifetime of living in small Midwestern cities to drive around the United States, eventually landing in the King of Midwestern cities. She spends her days helping small businesses grow and her evenings exploring Chicago and writing, not necessarily in that order.

As a college intern, Karen saw her words in print when the Lincoln Star quoted a Nebraska State Senator for whom she had written a speech. On the front page. Above the fold. She was hooked.
